Lions Eye Hospital an appraisal

I was elected as Secretary of the Eye Hospital trust in September 2017 & have taken over charge.

I, as a life member, have been associated with Hospital from the very beginning. I remember the days of super cyclone when all the relief activities were co-ordinated from this hospital site & more than Rupees 15 millions worth of relief material were dispatched to cyclone affected areas from here. Actually at that time, hospital was our 2nd home where we stayed for 14 to 16 hours each day. I was then the President of Lions Club in its 25th year i.e Sliver Jubilee Year.

I was also involved in hospital administration as vice chairman, committee chairman & other activities. It gives me immense pleasure to associate myself in this great service venture.

Our Hospital is working very efficiently & its financial position is very stable. We have certain plans for the future & I am confident that with the help and co-operation of all our friends and well wishers we shall I wish you all, a very very Happy Charter Anniversary.
